About St Joseph's
St Joseph’s Primary School is a faith-filled learning community where every child is known, valued and supported to flourish. With approximately 280 students, we offer the warmth and connection of a close community alongside rich learning opportunities that enable every child to thrive.
With a proud history of educating children in Chelsea and the surrounding areas for over 100 years, St Joseph’s has a long-standing tradition of excellence, care and service. Guided by our Catholic faith and Gospel values, we continue to nurture the spiritual, academic and personal growth of each student in a contemporary and inclusive learning environment.
We hold high expectations for learning and place student wellbeing at the centre of all we do. Our dedicated educators deliver a rich and engaging curriculum through explicit teaching and evidence-informed practices, ensuring learning intentions are clear, instruction is purposeful, and students are supported to build strong foundations, confidence and a love of learning.
Partnership with families is central to our community. Through trust, collaboration and shared responsibility, we create a strong sense of belonging and support each child’s learning journey from Foundation through to Year 6.
At St Joseph’s, we are committed to forming kind, capable and confident learners who are ready to make a positive difference in the world.
We warmly invite you to visit our school and experience the St Joseph’s community for yourself.
